This light colour has been designed for areas where street lighting is desired but where bat populations will be disturbed as little as possible. Research has shown that many bat species do not experience this amber light as such and are disturbed in a minimal way in their natural lifestyle.

Used in areas where traditional lighting solutions as well as modern WHITE/BLUE-PHOSPHOR BASED led Lights are negatively affecting the night time migration routs, patterns and nesting sites of most bats. By substituting the traditional lights or LED lights with this Mesopic colour spectrum of light, it has been shown that the nocturnal activities of bat populations return to normal, thus an environmentally conscious light to be used.
